The Identity Theft Awareness Group (iTAG). iTAG is a national organization dedicated to educating and protecting consumer's and businesses on current and evolving identity theft trends. Ultimately solving the problems created by this often unavoidable crime.

The Identity Theft Awareness Group consults businesses on how to implement the necessary safeguards required by the various state and federal privacy and identity theft provisions. This documented process serves to establish an 'Affirmative Defense' against data loss or compromise of sensitive consumer information.

Private information isn’t limited to bank statements and business contracts. Printed confidential materials are produced daily in every business and by every employee —from employee medical records to strategic planning documents. As the fastest-growing form of fraud, identity theft and corporate data theft threatens to destroy personal credit ratings as well as business reputation and security.
